Evaluations

You will participate in a holistic and comprehensive evaluation to identify strengths and areas for growth. At the end of the evaluation, you will have a personalized therapeutic plan for your unique needs.

The evaluation includes:

  • Interview with you

  • Interviews with friends or family (If needed)

  • Formal tests (i.e., receive a score)

  • Informal tests (i.e., tests that gather information without a score)

  • Collaborative goal-setting

AugmentAbility Speech Therapy conducts AAC evaluations to find clients an affirming and functional communication method. Clients who benefit from AAC may participate in a trial to find the best system for them. Learn more about AAC here.
